1pm to 4pm – Bowl Turning Taster Course – $150 pp

A Club for Everyone, Young and Old!
At Eastern Woodturners, we are a group of like minded individuals who have a common interest in woodturning – using a wood lathe with hand-held tools to cut a shape. Many things can be turned on the lathe, for example bowls, tool handles, table legs, spinning tops, circular chopping boards plus many more.
As a Club, Eastern Woodturners aims to:
– Foster the improvement of skills in all aspects of woodturning and associated crafts.
– Provide a forum for the discussion, practice and extension of experience in those crafts.
– Encourage members to display the products of their endeavours.
– Foster the adoption of safe working practices in the craft of woodturning.
Where are We?
Located within the grounds of the Mont De Lancey Homestead in a purpose built workshop, Eastern Woodturners Inc. hold meetings on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month (starting at 7.00 pm).
Visitors and those who wish to become new members of the club are always welcome, so come on down, have some fun and get a little dusty along the way!
